Why has my thread been deleted?

I posted this morning. I received some replies which were useful. I did not see anything that could be considered controversial. However, my whole thread now appears to have been deleted.

Why??

I did put a request to the admin to delete just one of my posts within the thread, where I had duplicated it by mistake. Have they mistakenly deleted the whole thread instead?

Admin? Can you advise?

Yes it was. I've not had the car with me for the past few days, there's even more to the story there but, will have a look re the VINs when I'm next with it.
