This prat is really annoying me now. And people actually take him seriously!

This type of shower DOES heat the water via a pump. It works on the hydro-pneumatic principle. The pump works via water pressure from the water main. Handymantips is merely showing you that it has an electrical feature but that's nothing to do with the shower side of things. It's just a convenient juction box for connecting the electrical positive wires to the plumbing pipes for extra safety. In the trade we call it REB retrospective earth bonding. Its better to be safe than sorry.

ARRRRGH!!!

The world has yet more stupid people in it!

Youtube dont have an email address it seems, I did alert them to this guys videos, but they havent taken any notice at all.

"Always sleeve your earth wire, because if it's in a metal casing and it touches the metal casing you could have a short circuit"

I'm not an electrician but ?????????????????????????

You are joking!

Only a ream!!

You'd need a bloody forest!

He's just your typical plumber.

I also.

Presumably, with people alerting them, and with all the comments being posted, if anybody were to be hurt by following any of his "tips" YouTube would be hard pressed to show that they hadn't been negligent. We can see from how they act over copyright violations that they do follow up on alerts and complaints, so they have seen the ones relating to this guy.

I hope nobody does get hurt, but I'd love to see a really aggressive NWNF US personal injury lawyer go after them, showing that they had ignored multiple warnings about the dangerous videos they were hosting.

It think this guy IS handymantips - he's been agreeing with him on other videos too, i.e. the plumbing soldering video about using soldering iron. Since when has solder ever had iron in it? Lead, yes. Tin, yes.* But iron? Don't think so.

* Before I'm corrected I don't know or care what's in this 'modern' stuff that contains fluxes which dissolve your lungs, I've got plenty of 60/40 left in my toolbox.

Aye, tested between live and switch live
Turn the switch on and it will show dead

Yep, I was just imagining some poor sap testing a closed light switch like that and then getting zapped.

And he's still having trouble with his positives and negatives......
