Hi and good evening.

About 10 mins ago my Wickes 45F (ye olde faithful)! made a clunking noice then stopped working.

I believe that it has overheated due to no pilot light. (this is just a guess)!

Does anybody know how i can reset or even access the thermostat?

Thanks very much for taking the time to help.

It probably as reset button on the boilers thermostat housing.Instruction book or brief instruction sheet on boiler cover may help.
Whatever caused the o/h to trip needs to be investigated.Does sound like circulation fault...(pump?)

Thanks very much for responding. I think that the overheating was caused by me turing all the rads off except the one in the living room as it stayed cold. I just found a reset button and it fired up again but made a terrible noise. Guess its time to call a pro!!

Cheers for taking the time to respond.

All the best
