Wickes Solid Oak Skirting

Does anyone know if the above is a good product?

I'm just looking through the catalogue now and I've seen the Premium White Oak skirting which looks nice. But then I've seen they do Redwood Pine which you also have to stain or varnish.

The doors I am going to have will be Oak Veneer.

Is there an alternative supplier I could get the skirting from. My husband has a trade account at Howden's but they seem very expensive.

Basically, am I likely to get a better or equal product elsewhere for less money than at Wickes. We do get 10% off at Wickes anyway. Howdens seem to be a fair bit dearer unless you haggle with them and I don't want to have that hassle.

Wickes are expensive and have limited choice.
