Widgets on Apple mac

Hi

My kids have been on my Applemac and removed some bits from my desktop. Somehow they have removed widgets from my dock and i do not know how to put back. I have located in finder my widgets but i can locate the dock widget symbol.

Any ideas.
ps I have chopped my childrens fingers off so it doesnt happen again.

I'm not quite sure of the correct terminology here, but if you mean the icons from the dock bar you can click and drag them from the finder directly to the dock bar.

If you mean the widgets in dashboard there is a + icon at the bottom of the dashboard screen which allows you to re-add those that have been removed.
