I thought I used to be able to edit the Wiki.
A week ago I tried to login but couldn't, which I put down to the impending forum change.
I had another go tonight and still can't log in. I may be mistaken and might have never registered, but when clicking the link to go to //www.diynot.com/member_of_diynot/register I am presented with this: (which was pasted from my clipboard with so much ease I'd just like to say (y))

If it's not just me, could you put it on your list please.

So, it must be just me.

Admin: please could you check if there is any reason why I can't log in, or register to edit the Wiki?

Sorry for the delay Mikeyd, this is an 'everyone' issue and not just you. I think the users who had access before can access it. I will sort out your access and send you a message, once it's done.

I had access to edit the Wiki.

Now when I try to log on, I get this:

I can give a categorical assurance that I am not getting my username or password wrong.

I've realised what this is.

It's because you have two separate environments where password changes are not replicated. At some point I changed the p/w I use for the forums, but the Wiki still wanted the old one. I did a reset via the Wiki "forgotten password" and can now log on.

Still the problem though that having logged on via the Wiki, when I then go to the forums I have to log in again.

This is all really lame.

You're quite correct they are parallel and distinct. Your post is quite timely as we have been testing and are migrating the existing wiki to an alternative that shares the environment with the current forum, this includes login sessions & notifications etc.

It will be different wiki software.
