I just got into the house to measure a space for a sofa. I won't get a chance to open it until I move in. I hope I can wire it into the timer. It will save me a lot of hassle

This is the configuration for the gas boiler that the thermostat reciever is connected to which I want to take from gas boiler and connect it to my oil boiler timer. The first photo is to power the reciever. The seconds one is to send the signals to the timer. And the third is the timer I would like to connect it to if possible.

Its the thermostat reciever I want to wire to the clock so the reciever and wireless thermostat does the work. Is this timer actually for the heating or is it maybe for thr immersion heater?

Could be immersion, it’s above your consumer unit, so likely the immersion.

It's annoying not been able to get into the house properly to suss out what's what so I can work out how to get a wireless thermostat hooked up

Why so impatient? Presumably it can’t be fitted until you move in anyway?

I need to work out what I need to do and if I can't do it or if i need a plumber/sparke to sort it for me. I want to sort it out before the carpets go down hopefully. Fitters said they can be in the day after I move in
