I am fitting my new toilet. The 300mm tap pipe (pictured with isolation valve) is 30mm short to the toilet cistern. I don't really want to get a 500mm pipe as there will beloads spare making it a mess.
If I cut the pipe 30mm ABOVE the isolation valve that is in place already, and fit one of these http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Plu...WRAS Flexible Tap Connector/d20/sd2807/p71894 (will return the current pipe with isolation valve that I have) will this work? I've never done plumbing but it looks straight forward.
Is it a case of just cutting the pipe and screwing the thread of the flexible tap connector over the end?
Thanks
