Hi, It is a timber extension and I am tiling the window cill as well as the front and sides.
There is going to be a quarter round tile used at the join between the flat and vertical tiles.
The quarter round needs about 12.5mm between vertical and horizontal.
The gap just about works out for a single tile between the window 1/4 round and the worktop, if I allow 6mm for worktop to tiles, is that about right?
I can see that I will need all the tiles cut before I start tiling, or should I start with vertical face then when set change to the flat part?
The 1/4 round is the white colonial, seems to give a good look if I can keep the grouting gaps even.
Any tips for a complicated window reveal? the 1/4 rounds give no margin for errors in the tiling, but if I pull it off will look much better than the metal trim.
