Looking to decorate the bathroom and was planning on getting rid of the bath and fitting a shower cubicle however there is a window in the way preventing the fitting of a shower cubicle, I'm a moderate DIYer at best so think rerouting drainage might be a step to far for me.

So I'm pretty much resigned to instead just replacing like for like but wondered if anyone had any suggestions?

Curved glass might be able to miss the window and still butt up to the wall...

...but I daresay they are remarkably expensive!!

Do you need to cover the whole area of the bath? You would only really need half or two thirds the area for showering. You could put a smaller, square cubicle in the corner at the foot end of the bath.

Does the window open? Is it the only one?

Do you need one metre for the screen?

When I was a kid, we fitted a shower in the bathroom in addition to a bath, and it involved boxing in part of the window ( it was a three panel window so 1/3)

1-With yours you could build over the window gap but build the backside into a V shape so it met the window frame.
2-Or wall the gap with glass bricks?
3-Or buy a sheet of laminated glass to cover the window and recess it so it is flush with the wall. This would allow the light through

4-If you have loads of money, tempered glass can be used and wallpaper behind it. The glass could cover the window in the same way as 2/3
