Window sill flower boxes

Hi All,

Quick question. We have ordinary concrete type window sill ledges - the ones that stick out a few inches. We would like to have some kind of flowers along the sills but we cant just set a planter or pots on top of the sills as they would prevent us from opening the windows. Any ideas as to how best we could do this?
