windscreen marks

hi, my son has been using badly worn wipers and now there are marks on the screen, one side i can see marks and on ther i can feel them, is there anything i can buy that will rub ( or mprove) the marks out thanks P M

How about trying some glass polish. AutoGlym used to do a product for windscreens, available from Halfords etc

I could use some of that, I scratched the windscreen of my Transit connect using an ice scraper!

I have tried these glass polishing kits (you can also get a fine quartz powder that you mix with water, and use with a polishing wheel) without much success if the wiper has made a bad scratch (mine picked up some sticky gritty material on a motorway and it wouldn't wash off with water).

Wipers go repeatedly over the same area and can cut a deep scratch.

Teach your son the difference in price between a new wiper blade, and a new windscreen.
