you can't "loop the tamper" that is the problem
in order for it to work corectly the first sounder is wired as "normal" EXCEPT for its tamper return. the tamper return is the supply for the 2nd sounder.
the tamper return from the 2nd sounder goes to the tamper return terminal in the panel
problems can arise becuse the tamper returns of some sounders have an integral current limiting resistor, which means they can nnot supply enough current for the 2nd sounder to work

what about the diagram texecom have for wiring multiple sire/strobe units? they just have everything wired as normal except lid tamper, which they loop. I could then put one box on sab.
