Best advice is to NOT use wireless unless it is absolutely impossible to get a cable to the camera. There will have to be one cable to supply power to the camera.
Interference is the biggest problem. I trialled a line of sight wireless link of about 15 metres ( a public road had to be crossed ) and off the shelf low to medium cost equipment did not work reliably ( clear at times and fuzzy at others ). Home made modulated infra-red link was the final solution.
Risco's Agility 3 includes a PIR with a built-in camera. When the detector is triggered, the camera uploads images to "the cloud" and you can view them on on your phone/tablet/PC (push notification). You can also "dial in" and view the real-time images.
