Hi all, hope i'm not asking the obvious. we let out a granny flat for holiday lets, it's central heating system is located in the cellar - bear in mind i live in Scotland. rather than trudge through sleet & gales to the cellar, i would like to control the central heating from inside our house. the cellar isn't that far away, im just a wimp. i wanted a wireless thing to control it. i have trawled the net for 2 hours this morning to source such a thing. i can only find a wireless thermostat controller. our house temperature has nothing to do with the flat being let. can i take it that this will work just like a 7 day wireless programmer and simply ignore the "thermostat" in it's name?

why say 5 words when you can say 100?

cheers. :confused:

You can buy a simple RF switch, a quick search of the internet took me here;

http://www.netairbuy.com/switch/switch.htm

Alternatively, we fit Honeywell Hometronic equipment here in the South. Installers are dotted around the UK.

If you decided to invest in Hometronic to zone your own CH into 16 zones wirelessly, saving a fortune in energy bills on your own house, an HS30 relay will just be added and addressed by a simple push button on the Hometronic Manager - this can be used to turn on the holiday let. Hometronic can also be controlled remotely by phone or internet.

Hi SkintDIYer I have just purchased a wireless system for my boiler, please see attached photo.
