Wireless/WiFi/Smartphone Integrated Home Security

Bit of a long title I know.

I'm looking to set up some home security. It has to be Wireless, Wifi enabled to make sure I can view it anywhere anytime, also night vision and to be Smartphone integrated.

I was wondering has anyone purchased any systems that they would recommend for a reasonable price?

I purchased an IP wireless camera from Amazon. D-link 5222L as it has PTZ is high resolution and has an app to live stream (also links to mydlink.com)

It's been reliable and records video to SD card and sends to an email address.

It's worth considering if you want some visual capability.

Hi,

I would love to say it's plug and play, the core features are.
But getting the email notifications working was a bit of a pain as I had to hunt down the email server settings but it's not the fault of the device.

Are you just after cameras or does your definition of "security" include intrusion detection?

Ideally motion sensors, day and night vision, smartphone enabled for viewing anytime(possibly alerts if anything is detected) and wireless and WIFI enable also for minimal mess with wires etc.

Thanks Stattman, the more I'm looking the more I would like a whole smart home installation, heating, home security etc.

Bit pricey though.
