I am fitting a new mirror in the bathroom with lights on it, the lights have a pull cord attached so all I need is a feed for the light, can I take the live / earth / neutral from a ceiling rose in the loft? if so what goes to what? is it straight extending them all down to the switch of the pull cord?

You are aware that work of this nature in the bathroom comes under part P building regulations and is notifiable to Local Area Building Control? This is now the law. You can still DIY but the proposed work must be notified to LABC BEFORE you start the work.
