I currently have a Salus RT500. Two wires - Live (from the Potterton programmer in the airing cupboard) and a switched live to the Honeywell 2-port valve. It's 13 years old, works fine but I want to have the option to replace it if it bites the dust. Looking at the Netatmo thermostat as it gives the option for variable hysteresis and control through an app. The wiring diagram for the Netatmo says it uses two wires - COM and NO. Would I just wire the Live to COM and the switched live to NO?
