hi guys
Just moved to a new house and my en suite is blind so keeping moisture under control is a little trickier. I have a standard bathroom fan with a timer but wanted to swap it for quieter one with a humidistat to ensure it stays on as long as it needs to control the humidity (missus takes steam baths o_O). Before i start ripping the wall open - is the wiring the same in both cases? I assume yes but better check before i do any damage to the bathroom.

thanks

Yes, the wiring will be the same - assuming your new fan has a timer as well.

There will be instructions with the new fan which you can compare to the wiring on the old one.

Mark the wires before you disconnect them so they don't get mixed up.
