Wiring hive 2 to a greenstar junior 28i

Hi. I am just about to wire hive 2 to my worcester bosch greenstar junior 28i.

Below are the pictures of the boiler and the currwnt thermostat. I just wondered if any one could help clarify which connections to make.

The grey cable in the thermostat is the one with the red casing going to LR. Just realised its not very clear.

Brown to L
Black to 1

This post couldnt have come at a better time. I have an older Worcester 28i boiler and was contemplating adding a smart thermostat to it (which is why this thread is very helpful) but I am also aware the boiler might need replacing in 12-18 months time so can the smart thermostat be moved between the old and the new boiler (whatever make that might be)?
