Help Please. I have removed the cover of my old mechanical thermostat, which is a Potterton PRT 100. There are 3 wires connected to it, which go into 3 pins as follows
Red Wire - Pin 1
Yellow - 2
Blue - 3
According to the diagram on the cover these are
1 = TL
2= H
3 = N
The pins on the new thermostat - Honeywell CM907 - are marked A, B, C with no indication of how this matches up to the above. The diagram with the Honeywell suggests to me that A is switched live, B is live and C is redundant (there seems to be an internal connection A to C)
I am a bit nervous about wiring it up the wrong way round so can anyone answer what I am hoping is quite a straightforward question, which colour wire goes into which numbered terminal ?
