Wiring up a Programmable thermostat..

Hi guys,
I have a Eco ET2 Programmable Thermostat which has 3 connectors:
Common (COMM)
Normal Open (NO)
and Normal Closed (NC)

Now i have 4 wires from the old mechanical stat:
Earth
Red
Blue
and Yellow

Can anyone advise me on whih colour should go where?

And any other advice on using a programmable stat for the 1st time woill be much appreciated.

What were the previous connections on the old stat?

I'd say:
Red - com
Yell - NO

Isolate earth and blue in two small connector blocks

I believe the old connections were Blue = Neutral
Red = Live in
Yellow = Switch out

So yes wire as above, I had a quick look at a wiring diagram and it appears a neutral isnt required, and neither is the earth because the stat is double insulated.
