Wiring urgent help please

ok im trying to fit a ceiling fan in a bedroom
The ceiling fan has 3 wire connections.
Yellow and green<earth>
black<live>
blue<neutral>

iv gone through the instructions but they all tell me about connecting wire colours that dont exist in my ceiling connection
my ceiling connection has the following
2xgreen and yellow
1xred
2xblack
and thats it..
so where do i connect them to?please help

doesnt sound right... exactly what cables do you have coming in? T&E and a 1C&E?

if yes, red might be switched live, and the blacks neutrals (1 neutral off to outside light?)

use a multimeter and find out what does what and did you make note of how it was wired before you removed old fittin?

hi m8

sounds to me like its wired in singles and the feed is at the switch.
connect the red to live and the blacks to neutral, the green and yellow is earth.
