Yeah, look at the 'For reference' thread at the top of the index. (I'm assuming by 3-way, you mean wiring a lighting point so that it can be switched from three different switch positions.) You need two two-way switches and an intermediate.
Then you should have called it by its proper name - a 3-gang light switch. Avoids confusion.
But again - look in the reference section on how to wire a 1-way light switch, and do that for each of the 3 groups of terminals in your 3-gang switch.
So come on Johno... do you want a switchplate with three switches in it, to operate three different lights independently? Or do you want a single switch to operate all three lights at the same time? And what, exactly, do you have at the moment?
