Lmaoooooffff...you harp on about colonialism and slavery ya daft ar§e.frequently FFS.
We educated them and set them on their way. Some countries just messed it right up afterwards, but hey-ho they have no-one else to blame.
You harp on about slavery. How long ago was that?
There is a massive difference.
France lost to Germany during the early days of WW2. Fortunately the end of the war turned out differently. But that is beside the point.
But nations have moved on, friendship and mutual cooperation has been rebuilt.
Some of you are harping on about French soldiers and people being killed and defeated, and trying to draw a comparison with slavery and slaves.
Slaves were captured, died, were killed and their children and grandchildren were born into slavery, Their ancestors still suffer racism and discrimination born out of that slavery. So the effects are still suffered today.
France and the WW are history, and we've moved on, well most of us. There's still some who want to harp on about it.
The effects of WW are still felt in some places, and those are taken into account. We don't stop talking about those issues.
So where the effects are still felt and seen, we continue to discuss it, or we ought to.
Even transam is still affected by the bigotry born out of fascism, and we still talk about that.
