WM52 WASHING MACHINE

I am having problems with my washing machine, it makes marks on the clothes and makes a loud noise.

I also am not sure how it is plugged in as there is a timer switch screwed in on the wall, I am a bit concerned as I don't know how to get the plug out, will it be behind?

How old is the WM52 machine?
