Anyone know how I can stop the screw loosening every time we use the shower please? Do I need a new screw, would PTFE tape work or would Loctite blue be an idea? Thanks.
Not sure on make or model. Might be a Hudson Reed. The screw screws into the end of one of these shower cartridges. There isn't a spacer but that's not to say there shouldn't be one. What would a spacer look like? It does fully tighten without interference with the control knob
If the screw your are talking about is the one in the middle of the end of the knob and which secures the knob to the spindle then:
1. Put a shakeproof washer under the screw head. Make sure its stainless steel.
OR.
2. Put a dab of thread lock on the thread. Use a non-permanent one for when you want to remove it again.
