The way I see that is that it has nowt to do with womans rights and more to do with culture.

No your right.... women have just as much rights as men in this country as they should do.
It is culture... her own grandparents hung her for wearing Jeans....
Is it not the received wisdom that other peoples' beliefs shall be respected?
