wondered if anyone can help

hi, just wondered if i'm missing something before i call someone out to take a look. I have a cannon gas oven and hob, there is no gas coming out to the hob. No problem with gas supply as fire and boiler working.
The main oven still working ok but taking slightly longer than normal to start but nothing at all to the hob. No problem with ignition and i've taken the rings off and no obvious blockage.

hasnt got a timer has it?

ours has and it will not work unless the clock is set
