I’ve got two 90/100 keystone lintels from my builders merchants and they both seem to be a bit wonky.

Tried them on a few different surfaces and it’s always the same with one corner higher than the others.

Will this straight out when some weight is applied, or should I be asking for replacements from the merchant?

First time I’ve ever bought a steel lintel so I don’t know what’s normal and what’s not.

Thanks
Andy

If you can still get the lintel level with slightly different bed depths on the corners, crack on
If it looks visibly weird or something from the outside when it’s finished then maybe not

We had a three course 'C' channel lintel (Birtley I think?)and it was a long fella. That too was slightly distorted so four of us tried to take the crown out of it by bouncing on it whist suspended each end on a couple of bricks. Not a prayer.

Catnic are rarely out of shape.
