Choosing a card and flowers for my Ma.

Go to checkout and the screen says

Card x.xx
Flowers xx.xx
Shipping 0.00
Total xx.xx

Assumed the shipping was zero as I had hit the minimum spend for free shipping.

Click NEXT, and I get the same list, but with a charge for shipping mysteriously appearing.

Then at the end, having paid, this box appears "Claim your £XX.XX......"

Then in small letters, "pay £18/ month"

There's enough shoite in our lives without being misled about the cost of your order and then getting a scammy message popping up at the end. Moonpig have chosen to invite this company onto their app and I think it stinks.

I shall make a complaint and never use them again.

So there.

Yeah, whilst it can be asserted businesses should of course be free to promote their various services, the way they do it can be very sneaky. Especially when customers then find it very difficult to be removed from whatever service they unintentionally signed up for.

I have never used moonpig. When looking at delivery costs, it does say "from" £X for each category of product.

I think the charge for sending a standard card is something like £3.95
Postage stamp is still much cheaper, even though their prices are extortionate.

So what your saying is "Moonpig.gon''

It'll be wrapped around some bangers by Christmas.
Terrible waste of a nice juicy suckling pig: roasted, my boy, roasted to a turn with a fresh red apple placed pertly 'tween his pouty lips. Sprigs of holly, optional.
