Not sure if this is in the right forum but can't see an obvious area to post it.

We have a Yeoman Wood Burner in the lounge and would like to know if it can be used for dual fuel. i.e. Can we also burn coal as well as logs in it?

Is there some way of telling by looking for a certain piece or gadget on it?
Inside is the usual grating with a central disc that you can rotate a few degrees in each direction to shake ash down into the pan but we also have two separate parts, (see pic), which we think may have some purpose though we don't know what, lol.

The house is rented and was only recently bought by the new landlord so he doesn't know what we can burn other than logs/wood.
