Hi,
I have laid a wooden floor and have had a bathroom installed on top and
I have some gaps between the skirting board and the flooring.
Some are just <1mm whereas some are >3mm.
What would be the best way to create a nice finish?
I'm thinking of quadrant beading or decorators caulk (I have read a few posts on using rope/ twine but am not keen on that way) or maybe both (to allow for flexing)?
Any advice on proceeding?
Thanks
oh, the floorboards are sealed and naturally varnished oak and the skirting board is white gloss so I'd prob go with a white finish as opposed to natural wood.

We normally use flat solid oak beading (can be varnished white if you want) for a neat, secure and hygenic finish.

And that will provide a tight, flexible fit?
Can i get it from any large diy store?
thanks

Ah, no, still no large diy shed will sell this I'm afraid (typical Dutch solutions for flooring ;) and sheds here are slow to catch on)
Check my profile to see where you can get it
