wood flooring on chipboard

Hi
I'm looking to lay a solid wood floor in my downstairs rooms but the rooms all have chipboard laid on top od dpm and concrete.
what would be the best method

What are the sizes of the boards, thickness and what's the width of the room?

In most circumstances you can install it floating on foam underlayment, glueing the T&G's

the chipboard is 20 mm thick and no room is bigger than 4.5m x 4.5 m
the wood planks would be 150mm x 18mm
the whole of the downstairs is to be laid.
i've heard the stickdown underlay may be an option?

If the chipboard is level and sound 3mm foam underlayment is all you need (and PVAC adhesive to glue the T&G's).

Stickdown underlayment is a good product (Elastilon, don't go for the look-a-likes) but expensive solution
