I have laid laminate flooring and bought a mitre saw for the quadrant beading but i dont know how to work out the angles for the corner joints. Help before i use all my wood on mistakes!!!!
If the walls are true the internal and external corners should be 45 deg. Most walls aren't though! Mine certainly aren't.
A useful tool is a Carpenter's Bevel. You can put this to your corner and set it so that the handle and blade are against the wall/skirting board, lock it and then use a protractor to read off the angle...you could transfer the angle from the bevel to a piece of paper to make this easier.
Just remember that the actual cut can leave a longer "back" or a longer "front" on the beading (quadrant) depending on it being an internal or external corner.
I doubt this is either clear or helpful...sorry...it's a difficult thing to explain in words only!
