Hi all,
I want to apply some water based wood preserver to some planed untreated timber (floorboards, for a cold frame). I had been planning on using some Ronseal Fence Life I already have in the shed, but I see that it says not suitable for use on planed timber. Does it really matter? I see that some water based treatments e.g. Protek wood protector say specifically that it can be used on planed timber as well as rough, but of course I don't want to shell out unnecessarily.
Thanks in advance
