hi everyone

At the moment i have a woodstove central heating back boiler ..pumped around house 8 radiators....heating hot water via a coil in a cold/hot water comination tank....i have plenty of free wood atm but this supply will get less over the next year or 2......i also on a cheap overnite ev tariff @5p Kwh for 6 hrs and a further 4hrs during the day @ !3p and 15 kwh storage battery.......i was wondering if installing a buffer tank with an immerser heater would help..ie fill the gaps when woodburning is not on overnite and keep the radiator water temp up...cheers g

There is a system, but it costs so much, only really an option with a new home, although shown as a single cylinder heat exchanger in practice the one I saw had two massive tanks, and reinforced floor to take the weight.
