Hi guys, first post and I was wondering if you could help.

Seen a house we love, it says there's new Upvc windows fitted. However when I look closely there's wood trim around the inside.

They were previously wooden sash windows.

Is this pretty standard or a cheap way of doing things / a cover up? See attached photos.

Any advice appreciated.

Thank you,
Chris

It's a better way, instead of using crap plastic everywhere which would have been used otherwise.

It's a personal preference thing. I would always go for wood as for me it looks better all day long. Some go for plastic cause it's low maintenance but in reality wood is pretty low maintenance as well.
