Wooden Frame for Plasterboard Walls

Hi All,
Just finished boarding the floor in my Loft the new staircase has been fitted for access I need to start building some frames for false walls I never done this before and I'm not sure what wood and size to use also how to build a frame any advice will be appreciated.

Get some 4x2 or 3x2 cls, the woodyard/builders merchant/diy shed will know what it is. Also a bag of 3" wire nails and a hammer. You might prefer 3" screws and a drill.
