Stained skirting boards & door frames in a bedroom with Ronseal quickdrying woodsatin Mahogany to try & match the rest of the house & 1 door frame in the room.
When I tried 4 diff coloured stains, the Mahonay one matched the best but what I didn't think about was the effect that 2 further coats would have to darken said stain !!
Is there anything I can do to lighten it apart from rubbing it all down again & stating again. I did try a little of an Antigue Pine stain on but it didn't change it at all.
