Hello there , I have a Worcester boiler 280 rsf , originally i had intermittant hot water but did have central heating. After the engineer had been (he replaced the sensor and descaled the heat exchanger). So i now have hot water but now have NO central heating , the engineer will not come back !!
He must of disturbed something as the central heating was working before he visited .I have been told that the switch in the cold water in pipe which goes into the heat exchanger could of been damaged when he descaled it.Could this be the fault if so how do i go about replacing it.Thanks for any help and advice.

Why must the heating engineer have disturbed something :?:

And why won't he come back. :?:

I assume he disturbed something as the central heating was working immediately before he started work on the "No Hot Water problem".
He won't come back because he said it is costing him money to try and fix it !! He struggled to fix the original problem , he was constantly on his mobile talking to someone else about the problem as if he was being talked through it . He admitted that he disturbed the switch in the "cold water in" pipe that goes into the heat exchanger that was why i did not have Hot water could this still be at fault ? Would it effect the heating if it was at fault??
