Hi, I seem to be having an 'ignition lockout' fault with my boiler (according to the user manual). It started a few weeks ago and now seems to be happening more frequently (twice today). The central heating demand indicator flashes slowly and doesn't always reset when I press the reset button, unless I then turn the central heating on. When it's flashing the hot water is also not working. The boiler itself is making noises as if it's trying to fire up.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, especially if I can avoid a callout charge. The boiler is nearly 3 years old and it had a 'so-called' service a couple of months ago (by apprentices who we've had previous problems with - burst pipes, faulty taps, etc which they fitted).
