Worcester 28cdi -No hot water.

last 2 days hot water has started off hot but slowly goes cold, happend more if someone had flushed the toilet or the washing machine was on.

Lastnight no hot water but found this morning we had warm water, I found that if the central heating is fired up then we can get warm water.

Also black bits are coming from the hot tap.

Ideas?

Thanx for your input.. What sort of job would this be?
Is it a job for a plumber / boiler eng or could it be done by a competent DIY'er?

If done by a pro could you give me any indication of a price?
