This would largely depend on when the water was spitting out of the aav.

Can you give more details of the fault that you called him out for and his reasoning?

I am afraid regular servicing on a 4 year old boiler wont save it if it been put in by a bunch of cowbows who have not flushed the system properly and added the correct chemicals to prevent corrosion occuring inside the system, or have overdosed the system and its rotted through the rubber seals etc on the boiler.

There does how ever seem to be a few faults, secondary HE must be blocked and its overheating, when its boiling the pressure is too much and the AAV is an easy escape. The expansion vessle is a common fault on these however it depends where it is leaking from?? round the join in the middle or out the little schreader valve on the from would idicate a replacement was needed. sometimes if its just flat it can be repressurised however.

The filling loops are very brittle and can be rounded off by people with pliers trying to fill up the system.

Pressure gauge??? might just be knacked and leaking onto the display.

--- Ummm okay..but we have no hot water or heating we have to wait a week for the guy to get the parts ^^^

Will take longer than that to have a boiler fitted and it wont cost 450, add at least another 1000 on top for fitting etc.

Also, a boiler being sold for 450 is not a good investment, theres a reason they are cheap :!:

They did 2 months ago, aps.pcb,gv,and finaly the lead from pcb to gv.It took him 3.5hrs.

Will worcester swap out 4 parts on a fixed price repair?

Definitely 3, now charge £185 or £235 if main HE fault. Card payment needed at time of booking. Usually come out next day as well.
