hi
had a new boiler fitted.
The bit that vents 'stuff' through the wall (sorry im no boiler expert lol)
is it steam or fumes and its about 3 days old now, there seems to be quite alot of steam stuff coming out . more than the old smaller boiler,
does this reduce and what is it exactly.
Unfortunately it blows my neighbours way and the did comment on it

any help appreciated
thanks simon

its known as pluming, its basically the water vapour that's in the products of combustion (fumes). the colder the weather the more pluming you get. Perfectly normal and expected.

thanks,
so is it purely steam or any nasty toxic fumes?

and is there any was of redirecting it

cheers

plume management kits are available for most boilers nowadays, your installer should be able to get one and fit it for you.

You could turn the plume deflector up the way its the bit on the end of the flue (vent). You could also fit a plume management kit.

It dones have gases coming out of it that you dont want to breath for too long but its normal

:)
