Just got a 30Di combi boiler & DT20RF thermostat installed and got two problems

1. Pressing "select" is supposed to cycle between the different central heating modes (OFF, TIMED, ONCE, ON) but this doesn't work (it won't move the arrow)
I can only have central heating ON or OFF by pressing the "ok" button
I can set the times I want, but then just can't enable the TIMED or ONCE modes!

I think the "select" button is physically ok, as when pressed, it turns on the backlight on the display
Pressing the other "select" button (for hot water) works fine

2. The atenna symbol on the receiver is still flashing, when I think it should be solid (so I assume there is no connection to the transmitter) I've read the instructions, but I can't find a way to set up the RF link a second time

Before I ring the installer to come back out, anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks

If this is the one I think it is, it is a rebadged Drayton, they are a bit difficult to set up as you have to press the buttons a number of times in exactly the right order at the right time.
Best to get the installer to check that it is not defective and explain to you how to do it.

Receiver set up:
After initial start up, the colon, CH and antenna
symbols should be flashing on the display.
1. Press the set? button 4 times.
2. Press the OK button once.
3. Press the set? button 4 times; Lrn and OFF
should be displayed.
4. Press the + button so the display shows ON and
a flashing antenna symbol. The learn mode is now
ready to receive a signal from the transmitter during
the next two minutes.

Transmitter set up:
1. Take the Digistat Room Thermostat and stand
approximately two metres away from the boiler.
2. Remove the battery cover and fit the batteries.
The symbols on the receiver will stop flashing and
the display will return to the normal time display.
This confirms that the radio signal is being sent
and received.
The Digistat Room Thermostat is now linked to
the receiver on the boiler.

Main thing - don't rush it - press the buttons slowly and deliberately. It took me 2 goes, and it worked on the second.

Also, I had to remove the batteries first, then do the receiver set up, then put them back in.

Good luck!

I had exactly this problem. It was fixed when I changed the batteries on the transmitter - ie the small box on the wall separate from the boiler.
