Worcester Bosch outdoor sensor - What would I need?

Hi,

Just a question about fitting an outdoor temperature sensor to the boiler..

I have a new 32 CDi Compact boiler with a Siemens wireless stat in the hallway.. I am wondering about fitting an outside temperature sensor but my gas man didn't know if it was possible without fitting a Worcester Bosch stat and that would have to be wired in etc..

The boiler has terminals for an outside sensor..

So does anyone know if the boiler can simply have a sensor fitted or does it need a full stat and sensor to make it work?

Pretty sure you have to use these ****box's own thermostats.
