i'm new to working on breakdowns, gas installs is more my thing. a mate has a danesmore 20/25 and it locks out.
i checked the flow of oil to the pump, its good and steady (tank above boiler)
tried to start it, went to lock out. waited and removed the burner, it fired up fine, so i put it back into slot, fired again.
i've got a analyser, so checked flue (high level) and the co2 came in at 1% over what the book says. (high level flue, poked my probe into the flue)
boiler went to lock out again, so i removed the boiler, put my oil pressure gauge onto the test point and it started at 140 ish psi, then to 80....10...170.... up and down like a whores draws!
i thought it'd be the pump, but reading a few other posts, could it be the solinoid?
cheers, Tim
