Hi, I have been having the same boiler problem that a lot of people seem to be having. Red reset light flashing, flashing blue light every 2 / 3 seconds. I have followed all the advice given including fully de-attaching the condenser pipe, reseting, turning off at the wall etc with no luck. I have Central Heating Insurance cover with BG but they cant come out Tuesday week (8 days).

Anyway, a couple of questions. Where the condenser pipe comes out (when removing this there was no water that came out btw) there is another screw cap attached to the same platstic container that collects the water. When I removed this a lot of water came out. It was quite mirky, alomst black with lots of sand in it. Is this another hole from the same unit? Why the sane? Could this be the fault of the problem?

Secondly If I hit the reset button, it doesn't make any perculiar noise, mostly clicking and then the same lights come back on. However, if I hold the reset button down while it is resetting it goes out and while it resets the boiler fan seems to kick in and it makes all the noises I would normally expect it to make. But after a while the reset light comes back on. Anyone know what I am doing by doing that? I never get the green gas light except when it first resets.

Any help would be appreciated.
