Last year in January I got a Greenstar boiler installed, it was fine for the first 3-4 months. But by last dec-jan winter spell it made a loud clicking noise when starting up for heating. The noise was loudest when the boiler was switched on when the system was cold. There is no noise when turning the hot water tap. One more thing to add in case its relevant, when switched on there is a hissing noise from the pipes going into the boiler, they subsided after initial 20-30 seconds.
I have bled the rads and the pressure on the boiler is also as fine.
Could someone please give suggestions as to what could be wrong so I can try and fix the issue. I want to resolve it before we get to winter this year.
